I’ve got a reservation at the Avillion PD. I’ll be taking Senja there for the weekend.

I’ll leave a note on the fridge. She can join us (if the wants to) when she comes back from Manila.

That is, if she comes back this weekend.

She sent me an email just now.

The email said that she had flown to Manila yesterday to attend to some pressing business matter. She’d be back in a few days time. I was to give her hugs and kisses to Senja.

At least she still knows she has a daughter.

A Night on the Couch

After dinner, while lying on the couch, I read Snow White to Senja .

We must have fallen asleep because we were still there when we woke up this morning.

Pizza Dinner

Last night I took Senja for a pizza dinner – just a father and his daughter.

I guess she had a lot of fun: she didn’t even ask for her mother.

Not even once.

Just Like Before

This morning, when I dropped her off at the daycare-centre, little Senja asked me, “Daddy, why doesn’t Mommy have breakfast with us anymore?“

I told her some day she will again; just like before.

Perhaps She Really Doesn’t Know

When she came home last night – faint as it was – I could still make out the scent of his aftershave.

Damn! She should have had a shower first.

I know all about it. I’ve known for quite some time now.

Perhaps she just doesn’t know this yet.
